- January, 31st - Grupa Play increases its stake in SferaNet, a fiber optic operator, to 86.5% of shares
- March, 31st - Play creates the largest fixed broadband network in Poland in an open access model in cooperation with InfraVia Capital Partners
- August, 31st - Finalization of the merger Play and UPC Polska
- October, 31st - Obtaining frequencies in the 3500-3600 MHz C Band for launching 5G services
2022
- April, 1st - Play has acquired UPC Polska, a leader in digital services, offering digital television and fiber optic internet reaching over 3.7 million households
- May, 25th - The first joint welcome offer of PLAY and UPC - even 2 years of subscription for free
- June, 20th - Play and InfraVia Capital Partners join forces to provide 6 million Polish households with fibre-optic internet in a new open network access model.
- July, 7th - Play acquires a majority stake in Redge Technologies and continues to develop the company in its current business areas
- October, 4th - Play is the second largest CIT payer for 2021 among individual companies in Poland
- December, 1st - 3S connects to Play. A comprehensive range of services for business is created
2021
- PLAY, Iliad and Cellnex concluded sale agreement of PLAY passive infrastructure to On Tower Poland.
- Shares of Play Communications officially delisted from Warsaw Stock Exchange.
- Signing an agreement to acquire 100% of UPC Poland shares. The transaction is awaiting approval of the European Commission.
- PLAY, together with Vectra, launches Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) service.
- By the end of year PLAY operates 9,766 sites on air.
