The Management Board of P4 sp. z o.o. (“Issuer”, “Play”), the company belonging to French Iliad group, hereby informs that on January 14, 2022, the Issuer signed with European Investment Bank (“EIB”) the Facility Agreement amounting to PLN 470 million (“Agreement”, “Loan”).
The funds from the Facility Agreement will be utilized by Play to partially finance investments in the scope of expansion and technological upgrade of mobile network towards an ultra-high speed broadband services.
The purpose of financing specified in Agreement supports such projects of the European Union as "2025 Gigabit Society", devoted to eliminate territorial inequalities in access to high-speed broadband network as well as cybersecurity and the goals of digital transformation announced in "2030 EU Digital Compass".
The Loan will be utilized in maximum 9 tranches during the two-year availability period. The Loan will be repaid in one installment 6 years after disbursement of the Loan or within 10 years upon disbursement in equal installments following end of the 3-years grace period, based on Issuer’s decision. The individual tranches will bear interest at a fixed or variable rate based on WIBOR.
